Our Gymnastics Members will be entering their 2nd Novice Gymnastics Competition for the Year. We would like to wish all competitors the very best of luck. If you are free on the day why not go along and support our competitors!

Details are as follows:

8-10 years boys & girls 8.00am warm up for 8.30am start
5-7 years boys & girls 11.30 am warm up for noon start
11-13 & 14-24 years boys and girls 3.00pm warm up for 3.30pm start
Venue: Merrylands RSL Youth Club  St Ann Street Merrylands - in Kings park, near Merrylands Bowling Club. Admission on day is $2.00 for adults no charge for children/ competitors
NO FLASH TO BE USED ON CAMERAS DURING ROUTINES

 

 

Part of the Youth Club ethos is to maintain strong community ties by supporting local                 organisations. We have been approached by Youth Off the Streets to support their appeal for the following items which will be utilised in their hostels in the local area.

Donations of 2^nd hand board games, play station and other electronic games, books both education and novels the age group 13—17 years. We ask that you only donate board games that have all their parts / pieces, electronic games that work and books that are good order.  Baskets will be provided participating students will receive 3 points for the donation.

 

 

 

We will be hosting a group from New Zealand in April 2010 if you would like to open your home to one or two members for approximately 2 nights / 3 days could you please let me know asap. The group will be arriving on Saturday 17th April and depart on Saturday 1st May.   As soon as more information is available I will forward to interested parties.

 

 

 

Jazz Championships - Sunday 30th August

Huge congratulations to all our competitors. Your appearance, behaviour and performances on the day were outstanding. See over the page for placings. A special mention for Lilyana Abram who was awarded the Diann Lane Encouragement Award -the smile on her face was priceless!

Orders for the Concert DVD will be taken on this day at a cost of $55.  Please remember there is to be NO photography or filming of the concert on the day.

 

Annual Youth Club Concert - Sunday 29th November

 

                          Gymnastics 10:30am -11:30am                          

Dance  12noon

It is that time again concert tickets will go on sale from 9am on Saturday 31st October. These tickets are only sold through the box office counter at the Club.  NO TICKETS will be sold prior to 9am or over the phone.

 

Should you wish to arrive at the Club earlier than 9am you will be issued with a numbered ticket and asked to take a seat. The staff at the main desk will begin calling tickets ten at time in order of your arrival to buy tickets from 9am.

 

Tickets for the concert do sell out quickly—it is recommended that you arrange to purchase them on this day.
